This symposium in Portland is a joint day with the Columbia Willamette ACBS chapter. Let Ike know (bc5speed@comcast.net or 206-909-4398) if you’d like to carpool. Meet up at his place at 5:30am to leave at 6am for Portland.
Morning location: Schooner Creek Boat Works 3255 N. Hayden Island Dr. Portland, OR 97217
We will have two speakers
1) Sheffield Propeller - “Shaft- it’s not just a movie.”
2) Laser Focus Restorations - “Laser finish removal system” A tour of the Schooner Creek production floor will take place after the speakers.
Lunch will be provided by CWC at the second location: PT 658 Heritage Center 5556 N. Lagoon gate 18, Portland, Oregon Following lunch, there will be tours of the PT-658 Heritage Center and the LCI troop carrier. PT 658 is the last operational PT Boat in the world!
Also, PT 658 will be available after lunch for cruises (weather permitting) for up to 24 people (2 cruises 12 people each). Passengers for cruises will be determined by lottery amongst those attending lunch at the Heritage Center.
