Please join us at the Hydroplane and Raceboat Museum (HARM) for our Wednesday Sept 11th meeting at 6pm. Register now as you’ll not want to miss this!
David Williams, HARM director and aviation historian, will relate a story, from his recently published authorized biography of Bill Boeing Sr., of how the history of Boeing is also entwined with that of classic wooden boats. And how a court case involving a wooden boat almost landed Bill in jail, eventually went before the U.S. Supreme Court and led to the landmark Roe v. Wade case. Intrigued? Register now. Dinner will be supplied by HARM at $25 each. Please bring cash or a cheque made out to HARM.
Ike and Brenda will give final details of Mahogany and Merlot boat show. Stehekin Lodge is definitely open for our pre-event. While the fire came close, no structures were lost. Let’s support this tiny community after a harrowing summer.
