The "Roaring Twenties!" Opening Day Parade is noon this Saturday, May 7th. Join us for breakfast on your own at the Bay Cafe. Tell them you're ACBS and ask to be seated in the back room. After make sure you attend the captains' meeting at 11am outside the Bay Cafe to find a ride or get your captain's instructions.

The theme is "Roaring 20s!" which gives us a good chance to entertain the crowd! If you're riding with our president, Craig Magnusson, you're a bad guy and need to be dressed all in black. You will be handing bootleg liquor to the runabouts whose passengers will be dressed in the Roaring 20's theme of flapper dresses and pinstripe suits, etc. The last boat, Steve Snider's, will be the "police boat" chasing everyone. His crew will be wearing police uniforms. Check with your captain for further instructions.

If you'd like to volunteer to give public boat rides Friday afternoon May 6th at Seattle Yacht Club from 2:00-4:30pm, come to the waterway between their docks 3 & 4 to pick up your passengers.

Friday night moorage at Fishermens' Terminal is $1.25 per foot. Pay envelopes are available at the marina office near the Bay Cafe. Tie up to the far west side of dock #9 (marked as Charter Dock on this map). Trucks and trailers can be parked at Fishermen's Terminal at the back of their lots. Although there is no locked gate, there are security patrols all night long with extra emphasis on our dock.

Dinner is on your own as there is no group seating. Two options are Chinooks and Highliner Public House.

If you're planning to arrive by boat Saturday morning, additional moorage is between docks 8&9 in front of Chinooks.

Bring your picnic lunch to enjoy at the UW Crew House after the parade. The cut opens to westbound traffic at 3pm. You're invited to Queen City Yacht Club for dinner and dancing.
